Where's the meteor shower?!

"Biggest Meteor Shower of the Year Peaks Tuesday Night"

There was suppose to be a big meteor shower last night. Did anyone see it/know about it? I stayed out with my boyfriend from 10PM - 1:30AM (California time), and we saw only around 6 meteors. How disappointing ): At least I saw the moon rising over the hill near my house.. I got that part recorded on camera 8D But then again, you can see moon rise any day you want. Boo. Moral of the story, don't bother going out to look for meteor showers.

The only meteor shower I saw was on the Google logo today. lolol.

edit: i actually went and bothered to click on the google logo and it said today should be the best day. It also said to watch when the moon isn't out.

PS: there's only one place the meteor shower can be; in the sky Wink

Rofl, haha. Google said today would be the best day? A lot of the articles I read said last night/this morning (9PM-1AM) would be the best time. So that's when I went. Also, there was no moon when I first went outside, but as I waited, it kinda just showed up, haha.

LOL. I'll be sure to look in the sky again tonight. From my window. In my warm room. (:

Wow.. I really didn't know about this, no wonder the google logo looks funny.. but isn't a meteor shower bad? Cause like there hot and they could destroy the earth o.O .

I`m pretty sure they burn out before they can do any harm to the earth surface.

Well, there was 1 here where I live and it landed in someone backyard and it burnt down the garage and fence.. o.O

They usually burn out or just turn into small black rocks.
