Okay, I would like to say, I am one of the most active members of this forum, if not THE most active member of this forum, and also with the most posts. I am on at least several times everyday. I view EVERY post.
I will be going back to school, a JR College in 3 weeks, but I will still be active, in the forums AND the game.
This forum obviously lacks members and activity.
I currently have no experience as a forum moderator, and this may be the first forum that I have ever been to. Unless BasilMarket is a forum. I would like to begin my life as a moderator. I have been on this forum for a only a while, I've read every post and replied to many of them, and basically to say, I have learned pretty much most of the features that I can use as a JR. Member.
I don't see much activity from the current moderators (Madison) besides the administrators, D3m0nicSoul, and xMandyBear and I would like to change the fact that this place is a hangout for about 5-10 people.
One very important factor in population of this forum is the game. We (or the GM's) need to advertise more to the players in-game. Tell them to tell their friends to join SodaMS. Tell them to come and check out some sort of special feature/poll/important updates/etc. etc. Also, since we are repacking to a more stable and unique server, more players are going to join the server because many other PS's aren't that updated yet and don't have as much features as we "will" have. After they join, it's just more advertising. And another factor in the ACTIVE population of this forum are the Threads and Posts. What are the maplers looking for? Why google it when you can find it on your very own forum? Guides are to help the inexperienced. Niseki and I have posted several probably helpful guides, and are posting more. Questions are also to be answered correctly and fast, not in several day's someone finally answers you. We have to give good customer service.
Some threads that are needed to be closed due to reasons such as breaking rules, too many flamers, inappropriate behavior and language, or a request from someone that was already banned.
The job of the Forum Moderators and the Game Masters are to decrease the amount of work that Admins have to do also. I understand you few guys are very hard working, and I can't even imagine being in your shoes because that would be too much stress and annoyance for me. So I would also like to help relieve you guys of more work.
